WordPress E-Commerce Store Build
Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD
I’m ready to launch an online store that sells my physical products, and I want it built on WordPress. The core of the job is to set up a clean, responsive site, connect a reliable shop system (WooCommerce or a comparable solution), and make sure customers can pay smoothly with credit/debit cards and PayPal.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Install and configure WordPress on my hosting, then add an e-commerce framework that suits physical product sales.
• Create a modern, brand-aligned theme (a high-quality premium theme is fine if it fits) and set up key pages—home, product catalog, product detail, cart, checkout, and simple policy pages.
• Integrate payment gateways for card transactions and PayPal, test end-to-end, and confirm orders flow to my inbox without hiccups.
• Add a sample set of products so I can see the layout in action; I’ll replace the content later.
• Optimise basic performance (caching, image compression) and SEO essentials (clean URLs, meta tags) so the site is launch-ready.
Acceptance criteria:
1. Site loads correctly on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
2. A test purchase using both payment methods completes without errors and records in the dashboard.
3. All pages show placeholder content and follow the agreed design style.
If you have recent examples of WordPress shops you built—especially those selling physical goods—feel free to share. Let’s make this store retail-ready as quickly as possible.
