WordPress Car Rental Website Build

Job ID: 40285960

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

The goal is to launch a clean, responsive WordPress site that presents our SUV, car, and van rental service in a way that is clear, trustworthy, and easy to expand. Right now every reservation funnels through Turo, so the site should point visitors to those live listings while giving us space to explain rates, insurance, pick-up options, and one-way rentals in detail. Later we’ll bolt on a direct-booking module (WooCommerce, WP Simple Booking Calendar, or any booking plugin you recommend), so the theme and page structure must be ready for that upgrade without a redesign.

Homepage
I haven’t settled on an exact layout yet, so pitch options—slider with featured vehicles, promo panels, testimonial banners, or any mix you feel works. Whatever the hero looks like, the copy must focus on “Information about rental services,” since that is the top priority for visitors today.

Core pages
• Fleet overview for SUVs, cars, vans with embeded Turo listing links
• How It Works / FAQs covering business rentals, vacation travel, road-trip mileage, and one-way drop-offs
• Contact / inquiry form
• Blog set up for “Travel tips and guides” where we can post suggested routes, weekend getaway ideas, and packing checklists

Style & tech notes
• WordPress 6.x, Gutenberg ready
• Lightweight theme you can fully brand to our colors
• SEO-friendly URL slugs and metadata prep
• Fast loading, fully responsive, no page-builder bloat
• Basic security hardening and daily backup plugin enabled

Deliverables
1. Fully configured WordPress site on my host
2. Custom theme or child theme with all page templates
3. Blog section configured and a sample travel-tip post for reference
4. Written guide (PDF or markdown) on adding vehicles and posts, plus instructions for plugging in a booking engine later

Acceptance criteria
– All pages pass mobile friendliness test
– Fleet pages link correctly to each live Turo listing
– Blog index and single post templates display without layout breaks
– Core Web Vitals scores in the green once the site goes live
