WooCommerce QA/tester/finalizer

We’re looking for a QA freelancer to support the continued development of an existing Woocommerce webite. It is a running business with healthy turnover and many challenging tasks in the current backlog and also future opportunities. We anticipate 5-10 hours are needed on average per week, with more hours being possible in the beginning. It is crucial you study the list and consider carefully if you are a good match, as it is in neither yours or our interest to spend energy on starting the collaboration without it. A few interviews will be required to determine the right candidate.

::Must-have skills:
- WooCommerce (& WordPress)
- PHP & MySQL intermediate (enough to deep-dive into plugins, APIs, Woo-standard compliance, etc.)
- JIRA/Kanban board
- Test-case preparation
- Test-case execution
- Test-case documentation & solution proposals

::Must-document to be considered:
- QA examples for woocommerce work
- In case we are in doubt about skills, we may provide a case for you to assess as a part of the application process, which you will complete without payment to be considered.

::Nice-to-have skills/experience:
- AJAX & JS
- Unit-testing
- Technical risk assessment & FMEA
- Experience with a variety of Woo / WP plugins

::Must-have personality:
- You thrive working in the validation, finalization & documentation phase.
- You respond quickly on requests and provide daily updates in JIRA when requested

::Terms:
- The work will be paid upon completion of phases, we will not arrange many small payments or have negotiation during the work execution. If something should deviate much, either in scope size or timing, we will open the discussion.

- You will trust us and share QA feedback without asking to be paid until a work sprint is completed.

- We will pay without hesitation when work is done and continuously offer new opportunity.

- We generally communicate on JIRA, Skype & Discord.

- Our current team consists of one developer and one project manager, and the client has a designer assigned to the project.

- We will only work with an independent freelancer individual.

- If the above terms are not agreeable, this case is not ideal for you, as we are looking to include a long-term QA’er to our team, and trust is a fundamental condition.
