WooCommerce Subscription Requirement
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
A background of the website:
An online subscription pet store. A very custom and unique experience for customers.
What we have done:
We have built a custom ajax onboarding screen with a custom formula / calculator in back-end that spits out results based on users inputs via fields. Based on these results, it advises user on subscription period programmatically with that data. The subscription is then added to the cart programmatically.
What we need to do:
Change existing subscription app from YITH WooCommerce Subscription to WooCommerce Subscriptions.
We need WooCommerce subscriptions to be dynamic (per day) based on the onboarding calculation as each user case will be different. Currently the default subscription cycles with this app is daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, annually, etc.
Configuration needed too:
We as the admin know when the customer needs the order. We need to minus off the lead time for shipping (estimated via postcodes) and then that is the day the order is generated, billed and sent to third-party platform Coghlan for them to pick, pack and fulfill.
For shipping purposes (we will build a custom section in the back-end where we input shipping timelines based on postcodes). Example, NSW – 4 business days for delivery, meaning if a user is based in NSW it will take 4 days for them to receive product. We are going down this route because we don’t want customers to run out of food (this business model is to be accurate and custom per user).
We need to achieve a default functionality too. If a customer’s order is due for a Saturday or Sunday, our system must detect it and pull it forward to Friday automatically. And if an order is scheduled to be invoiced on Saturday or Sunday, again we need it to automatically pull it forward to Friday.
