Shopify to WooCommerce (Blocksy Pro) Migration
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Replicate the look, feel, and key functionality of our existing Shopify store (simplypeptides.co.uk) on WooCommerce using the Blocksy Pro theme. WooCommerce and Blocksy Pro are already installed and licensed. Catalogue of around 32 products. Product data will be migrated by us, so the freelancer is responsible for design, build, and configuration only. Staging environment will be provided by us.
SCOPE OF WORK
1. Theme styling to visually match the current Shopify store: colours, typography, spacing, buttons, header, footer, mobile breakpoints.
2. Page builds using Blocksy: homepage, shop/category pages, product pages, cart, checkout, account, contact, policy pages.
3. Product page design tweaks (to be discussed and agreed before build, scope to be confirmed once we share mockups or annotated screenshots).
4. Install and configure an email-capture popup offering a discount code for first-time subscribers. Suggest a suitable plugin, the popup must integrate cleanly with WooCommerce coupon generation and our chosen email tool.
5. Install and configure schema markup for products, including price, availability, and review schema. Rank Math or Yoast acceptable, please recommend.
6. Migrate Judge.me reviews from the Shopify store to the WooCommerce store, preserving star ratings, review content, and product associations.
7. Implement 301 redirects for every Shopify URL to its WooCommerce equivalent, covering products, collections, blog posts, and policy pages. This is non-negotiable for SEO continuity.
8. Deliver the build on our staging environment for our testing and sign-off, then support cutover to production on an agreed window.

PLUGIN SUGGESTIONS INVITED FOR
- Email-capture popup with discount coupon. Options worth considering: OptinMonster, Popup Maker (Pro) paired with WooCommerce coupons, Brevo, or Klaviyo's native popup.
- SEO and schema (Rank Math vs Yoast).
- Any other plugins required to deliver the scope above. Please provide a full list with licence costs before starting.

- Documented list of all plugins installed, with licence and renewal info
- 301 redirect map (CSV or plugin config)
