WooCommerce Speed & Link Fixes
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
My e-commerce shop runs on WordPress + WooCommerce and it’s starting to creak: pages load slowly and several internal links are returning 404s. I need a performance-minded developer who can diagnose what’s dragging the site down, repair the broken links, and come back to me with a concise plan for any further optimisations you spot along the way.
Here’s what I expect at a minimum:
• Benchmark the current load time (PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix) and share the baseline.
• Implement fixes: optimise images, tweak caching/minification, clean the database, remove or replace heavy plugins, and correct every dead link you find.
• Re-test, aiming for a noticeable drop in first-byte and full-load times and zero 404s on the crawl report.
• Provide a short recommendations report covering any extra gains—theme tweaks, CDN setup, security hardening, checkout UX, etc.—so I can plan the next round of improvements.
You’ll be working directly on a live WooCommerce store, so please take proper backups and use a staging environment or maintenance window to avoid downtime. Familiarity with tools such as WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, or similar, and solid experience debugging WooCommerce setups will be important.
Once you’re finished, I’ll verify the new speed scores and link integrity before marking the project complete.
