WooCommerce SMTP Email Fix

Job ID: 40541606

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

My WooCommerce store has stopped sending order-confirmation emails to both customers and the admin mailbox that lives on Google Workspace (GSuite). The site runs on standard WordPress hosting and, so far, I have not installed any third-party SMTP or transactional-email plugins, so everything is still on the default PHP mailer.

What I need:
• Diagnose why “Order confirmations” are failing while the site itself performs fine.
• Configure a reliable SMTP solution that works with my existing GSuite account (WP Mail SMTP, Post SMTP, or any equivalent you recommend).
• Verify DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) if required and supply any values I must add at the registrar.
• Run test orders and confirm emails arrive in both inboxes and spam checks pass.
• Document the plugin settings and steps you took so I can replicate them on staging or after updates.

Acceptance criteria:
1. Order-confirmation emails send automatically on checkout completion.
2. Messages reach customer and admin GSuite inboxes without landing in spam.
3. No core WooCommerce or theme files are modified; the fix lives in plugins or settings only.
4. A short hand-over note outlines SMTP credentials location and troubleshooting steps.

Access I can provide: WordPress admin, hosting cPanel, and DNS panel once we agree on a start time.

If you need any additional details, let me know and I’ll respond quickly so we can get transactions flowing again.
