WooCommerce Full-Stack PHP Developer

I’m building an e-commerce store on WooCommerce and need an experienced PHP developer who can handle everything from database logic to the customer-facing interface. The codebase is WordPress + WooCommerce, so you’ll be working with core PHP, hooks, templates, and REST API endpoints while also shaping the front-end experience.

Key goals
• Extend or create plugins that add store-specific functionality without bloating the site.
• Tweak or build a lightweight theme/child theme so pages load fast and remain fully responsive.
• Connect payment, shipping, and any third-party services through clean API calls, documenting changes in the repo.
• Harden security, optimise queries, and make sure checkout remains smooth under load.

Acceptance criteria
• Features delivered as installable plugins or documented theme code, following WordPress coding standards.
• No PHP warnings/notices in WP_DEBUG mode.
• PageSpeed Insight mobile score ≥ 90 on critical pages.
• All new endpoints return valid JSON and pass simple unit tests.
