WooCommerce Developer for Suzalan E-commerce

About Suzalan:
Suzalan is a personal care brand offering handcrafted soaps, body oils, and hair care products. We are looking to establish a strong online presence in India with an e-commerce website that delivers a smooth, modern shopping experience to our customers.

What we need:
We are seeking an experienced WordPress developer with expertise in WooCommerce to build our online store. The developer should be India-based (preferred), familiar with Indian payment gateways, shipping integrations, and design best practices for conversion.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in building WooCommerce stores (portfolio required).

Strong skills in WordPress customization, theme development, and responsive design.

Experience with payment gateways popular in India (Razorpay, PayU, CCAvenue, UPI, etc.).

Knowledge of shipping plugins for India (Delhivery, Shiprocket, Bluedart, etc.).

SEO-friendly and mobile-first design approach.

Ability to integrate email marketing tools (Mailchimp / SendinBlue).

Security, speed optimization, and backups setup.

Responsibilities:

Setup and configure WordPress + WooCommerce.

Build homepage, product catalog, cart, checkout, and account pages.

Configure Razorpay / UPI payments.

Setup shipping zones with Indian courier plugins.

Optimize site speed, security, and SEO.

Provide training/documentation for product uploads and order management.

Nice to Have (Optional):

Experience with subscription-based models (monthly packs, bundles).

Knowledge of loyalty programs or referral systems.

Integration with marketplaces like Amazon / Flipkart.
