Wholesale Luxury Home Goods Platform
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need a wholesale-only e-commerce site for my line of luxury home goods. Visitors should land on a beautiful public catalogue, but pricing, stock levels and ordering must stay hidden until a buyer creates an account and verifies it by email. Once verified, they gain full access to shop, add items to a cart and check out in a familiar retail-style flow.
Two payment methods are essential at launch: credit/debit cards and manual bank transfer. The checkout must handle both smoothly, recording orders in the admin and sending automatic confirmations to the buyer and to me. PayPal can remain off for now but the build should leave room to enable it later.
The back-end has to let me:
• approve or block wholesale accounts,
• set tiered pricing and bulk-order minimums,
• upload new SKUs with multiple images, specs and rich descriptions,
• export orders to CSV or integrate with accounting software.
Please use a robust B2B-friendly platform—Magento, WooCommerce with B2B extensions, Shopify Plus or another you recommend—and keep the design clean, responsive and fast. SEO-ready URLs, basic on-page optimisation, and Google Analytics setup should be included so I can track buyer behaviour from day one.
Acceptance criteria:
1. A registered wholesaler can log in only after email verification.
2. Prices remain hidden from guests.
3. Checkout completes successfully with both card and bank-transfer options, creating an order in the admin and sending emails.
4. Admin area gives me full control over users, products, and orders.
5. Site passes standard mobile responsiveness checks and scores at least 85 on Google PageSpeed for both desktop and mobile.
Hand-over should include a short video walk-through of the admin panel and written instructions so I can manage the store without developer assistance.
