Shopify-to-WordPress Plugin Development
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m moving my Shopify store to WordPress and want the transition to feel seamless for both shoppers and search engines. Alongside the migration itself, I need a custom plugin that recreates—and ideally improves—the dynamic pricing and upsell logic my current shop relies on.
Here’s the flow I have in mind. First, pull every product, collection, customer record, image, and SEO-critical URL out of Shopify and import them into a fresh WordPress install, verifying that no links break along the way. Once the data is in place, build a lightweight, namespaced plugin that hooks cleanly into WooCommerce, follows WordPress Coding Standards, and remains update-safe. I’ll provide admin access to both dashboards as well as a private Git repository for version control.
Deliverables
• WordPress site fully populated with migrated data, media, and working redirects.
• Custom plugin packaged as a .zip and pushed to the repo with a README and clear inline comments.
• Short hand-over guide (video or PDF) showing how to configure and update the plugin.
Acceptance criteria
• Zero 404s after migration (checked with Screaming Frog).
• Plugin passes the WordPress.org Plugin Check with no critical issues.
• All core features run smoothly on the latest WordPress and WooCommerce versions.
