Rice NAACP WordPress Site
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a full WordPress build for the Rice University NAACP chapter, using https://www.naacphouston.org as the style and content benchmark but refined to feel distinctly “Rice.” The overall tone should be professional and clean, mobile-first, and easy for student officers to update without touching code.
You can start with any solid, well-supported theme you recommend (I haven’t chosen one yet), then tailor the design, colors, and typography to match Rice branding guidelines and NAACP standards. I already own the domain — https://naacp.rice.edu — and will provide hosting credentials as soon as we kick off.
Core pages / functions I need delivered:
• Home
• About
• Membership (with join/renew forms tied to our email list)
• Donate (Stripe or PayPal integration, whichever is simplest to keep fees low)
• Upcoming Events (calendar or event listing plugin, with RSVP option)
• Blog / Updates (standard WordPress posts)
• “Shop Rice NAACP” (basic WooCommerce setup for merch)
• Contact Us (form + Google Map to campus)
Please build everything so future officers can edit text, images, and menus from the WP dashboard. A quick Loom or written hand-off guide showing where to update each section will be the final step to sign-off.
