Modern WordPress E-Commerce Design
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need a WordPress expert to craft a fully functional e-commerce site with a modern, clean aesthetic that reflects my brand and keeps the shopping journey friction-free. The build will sit on WordPress + WooCommerce (or a comparable solution you recommend) and must be responsive, fast-loading, and easy for me to update once it goes live.
Core scope
• Design a custom, contemporary theme or heavily tailor an existing lightweight one so every product page, cart, and checkout step feels cohesive and uncluttered.
• Configure WooCommerce, linking products, tax, shipping, and other store basics.
• Implement reliable, PCI-compliant payment processing—Stripe or PayPal is fine, but advise if another gateway is better for my market.
• Optimise for SEO and performance: clean code, compressed images, and clear heading hierarchy.
• Provide a brief hand-off guide (video or PDF) so I can manage inventory, coupons, and routine updates without breaking the layout.
Acceptance criteria
1. Site displays flawlessly on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
2. Checkout successfully processes a live test payment.
3. Google PageSpeed Insights scores 80+ on mobile and desktop.
4. All brand colours, fonts, and spacing align with the agreed mock-ups.
