​Project Overview:
We have an established and fully functional running E-commerce website built on WordPress and WooCommerce. We now want to upgrade our platform into a Hyperlocal Multi-Vendor Marketplace (C2C + B2C model) to allow local shopkeepers, wholesalers (e.g., from Gaffar Market), and individual users to list and sell their refurbished/second-hand and new smart gadgets.
​We are looking for an experienced WordPress & WooCommerce developer who has specific expertise in setting up multi-vendor environments.
​Key Requirements & Scope of Work:
​Marketplace Plugin Integration: Install and properly configure WCFM Marketplace (Preferred) or Dokan Pro.
​Vendor Registration & Dashboards: Setup separate and clean registration flows for B2C Vendors (Shopkeepers with GST/Address fields) and C2C Sellers (Individual users).
​Commission & Escrow Setup: Configure a proper commission structure where the payment comes to the admin first, and splits/transfers to the vendor after order completion/holding period.
​Payment Gateway Sync: Integrate existing payment gateways (like PhonePe) to seamlessly work with the multi-vendor backend.
​Mobile-Friendly & Optimized UI: Ensure the vendor dashboard and store pages are highly responsive and look professional on mobile devices.
​What we are looking for in a Developer:
​Must provide live links/portfolio of previous multi-vendor marketplaces (specifically using Dokan or WCFM) that you have successfully built.
​Good understanding of marketplace workflows, security, and performance optimization.
​Non-technical founder here, so we appreciate clear communication in plain business terms without heavy tech jargon.
​Budget: Fixed Price (Negotiable based on experience and previous portfolio).
