Hourly WordPress Developer Needed – Skill-Based Competition Website (UK Compliant)

Job ID: 40150592

Budget: £10 – £15 GBP

I am looking for an experienced WordPress developer/designer to improve and rebuild my existing website for SkillWin UK, a UK-based skill-based competition platform (not gambling).

I already own the domain and hosting, and there is an existing WordPress site in place. My preference is to edit, redesign, and improve the current site rather than start a completely fresh build, unless clearly justified.

The goal is to create a professional, modern, high-conversion website that looks trustworthy, performs well on mobile, and is compliant with UK skill-based competition requirements.

This will be an hourly role, starting with redesign and optimisation, with potential for ongoing work.

• Strong WordPress experience
• Elementor (or similar page builder)
• WooCommerce setup, styling, and optimisation
• UX/UI design with a clean, non-gambling look
• Mobile-first and performance-focused

• Skill-based competitions with paid entry
• Competition question before entry
• Clearly visible free postal entry route
• Secure payment integration (Stripe / PayPal)

• Easy admin management for competitions and content

Nice to Have
• Experience with UK skill-based competition websites
• WooCommerce optimisation experience
• SEO and site speed optimisation
• UK-based or familiar with UK regulations

Deliverables
• Improved and redesigned existing WordPress site
• Polished UI/UX and mobile optimisation
