HTML Site to WordPress Conversion
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a static HTML website that I’m ready to migrate to WordPress while keeping the exact same look and feel—layouts, colors, fonts, images, everything. What I need is the underlying codebase rebuilt as a custom WordPress theme so future updates are as easy as working in the dashboard instead of editing raw HTML.
Beyond the pixel-perfect theme, the new site must support:
• Blog management for regular articles
• Custom post types so I can separately organize sermons, podcast episodes and event listings
• Reusable content blocks to speed up page creation and maintain consistency
On the functionality side I want SEO plugins installed and configured, full e-commerce capability (WooCommerce or a comparable solution), and seamless social media integration. The sermons, podcast, and events areas should each have their own archive and single-item templates, searchable and sortable from the front end.
Acceptance criteria
– WordPress theme visually identical to current site across modern browsers and mobile devices
– All content migrated and editable via the WordPress editor or custom fields—no hard-coded copy
– Blog, Sermons, Podcast, Events and Shop sections working with their own post types and taxonomies
– Core plugins: leading SEO suite, e-commerce, and social share buttons installed, configured and tested
– Page-load speed and basic on-page SEO checks pass (I’ll run Lighthouse)
Provide a brief outline of your approach, including which tools or frameworks you prefer for custom fields (ACF, Gutenberg blocks, etc.), and an estimated timeline to reach a launch-ready site.
