Full-Time WordPress Marketplace Developer
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m building a hire-and-get-hired marketplace and I need a WordPress-centric developer to take it from the current wireframes to a production-ready platform. The site revolves around two distinct roles—Employers and Freelancers—and must feel as smooth and trustworthy as the big names in the space.
Here is the core scope you will be owning:
• User profiles & reviews that can be filtered and searched in real time
• A job-posting and bidding flow with escrow-ready milestones
• An in-platform messaging system tied to each job thread
You’ll handle theme selection or creation, plug-in integration (or custom coding where off-the-shelf options fall short), database design, responsive UI tweaks, performance tuning, and basic DevOps such as version control and staging deployments. I’m happy with the tech stack most WordPress marketplace solutions lean on—think WooCommerce, BuddyBoss/PeepSo, or dedicated bidding plug-ins—so long as the end result is fast, secure, and easy to iterate on.
Acceptance criteria for each sprint will be clear: every delivered feature must load in under three seconds, be fully responsive, and pass a brief security review before we move to the next milestone.
If full-time availability, clean code, and proactive communication are your standard, let’s talk and get this marketplace live.
