Project Description
I own Richie’s Marketplace (single-provider services) serving Kitchener–Waterloo–Cambridge. I need a from-scratch rebuild on WordPress + ExpertHive (HivePress). Keep the marketplace look but no external vendors — only my company’s certified pros.
Payments must be pre-authorised at booking and captured after the job. Build on staging first, then migrate to live once approved.
Scope of Work
1. Environment
• Create staging.richiesmarketplace.com (fresh WP).
• Install ExpertHive + child theme; only required plugins.
2. Content & Layout
• Remove demo content; rebuild Home, Services, How It Works, Contact.
• Hero:
• H1: Certified Pros in KWC
• Subhead: Get help for any task—pay after it’s done.
• How It Works (3 steps):
1. Book Your Service (choose date & time)
2. Add Job Details (location, scope, notes)
3. Pre-Authorise & Pay Later (charge captured after completion)
• Replace search placeholder with e.g. mirror mounting.
• Hide header actions “List a Service / Post a Request”.
3. Services
• Add categories & attributes (list provided below).
• Add 3–5 sample listings with images & pricing chips.
• Configure HivePress Bookings: hours, slot length, buffer, email notifications.
4. Payments
• Install WooCommerce + WooCommerce Stripe Gateway.
• Set manual capture (authorise only).
• Demonstrate in test mode: one capture after job; one void (if customer pays cash).
5. SEO & Performance
• AIOSEO basics (titles/meta).
• Add LocalBusiness + per-service Service schema for KWC.
• Optimise: caching (WP Super Cache), image compression, SSL.
• Backup with UpdraftPlus; provide downloadable backup + restore steps.
6. Handover
• Loom (5–10 min) + 1-page doc: where CSS/JS lives, how to edit hero/steps/services, bookings settings, and Stripe Capture/Void.
Acceptance Criteria
• Staging approved → migrate to live.
• Stripe test mode: authorise+capture and authorise+void both succeed.
• PageSpeed (Home): ≥65 mobile / ≥85 desktop.
• Backup delivered + handover complete.
