I am looking for an experienced web developer to help build and maintain an online learning platform for my existing website.
Project Status
This is an ongoing project, not a one-time task. I am looking for someone who can provide long-term support as new features are added.
Current Website
* Existing WordPress website
* Need to integrate or build an LMS
* Open to WordPress-based solutions or alternative platforms if they better meet the project's needs
Scope of Work
* Design and implement an LMS for online courses
* Create secure user registration and login (single sign-on if appropriate)
* Set up memberships and user roles
* Integrate payment gateway(s) for course purchases and subscriptions
* Configure student dashboards and course access
* Connect email notifications and automations where appropriate
* Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain the platform
* Improve website performance, security, and usability
* Provide documentation or brief training when major features are completed
Preferred Skills
* WordPress
* LMS platforms (LearnDash, Tutor LMS, LifterLMS, Moodle, or similar)
* WooCommerce and payment gateway integration (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
* PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
* API integrations
* Website optimization and security
* Experience with membership systems and authentication

* SEO knowledge
* Experience building educational platforms
