Developing a Wordpress/Woocommerce plugin that connects/syncs POS systems, to a Woocommerce/Dokan website.
Budget: $400 – $600 USD
We are a company that offers e-commerce services to our clients, currently I’m trying to build a plugin that helps me in the work I am currently doing which is to sync some of my clients POS systems to a marketplace website. the clients will be able to connect their POS system to the market website by them self. And then sync their products. Also please note that our website is using Dokan multi-vendor. So each of our clients should be a different vendor on Dokan marketplace.
How many POS systems we need this to work on?
For now, only 2 POS systems both of them are cloud based. lightspeed POS and square POS.
What I did so far?
We already have a plugin for each on those POS systems. The plugins syncs the products of those POS systems to Woocommerce. the plugins are installed on our test website. we will start from there.
Requirements:
I need someone who have an experience these topics that I mentioned before as this is a complicated job.
Procedure to syncing the products to the marketplace:
- they are going to create a vendor user then login to the marketplace.
- they will see an option to connect their POS system to the marketplace.
- our clients are currently using a cloud-based POS.
- He will have to select his provider from the list. (two options for now)
- Then he will have to put the POS provider API details.
- He can test the API details with the POS Provider server.
- The plugin will connect to the POS Provider database and find the client inventory tables that are needed to be synced to the marketplace. the idea is that the product inventory of the client should be synced. such as products name, product SKU, Product UPC, product discerption, product quantity, price, sales price, product category, images, location. And so on.
Please note that only people with experience in these subjects will be accepted for this task.
