Debug Blank-Screen PHP Project
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have a small-to-mid-sized PHP application that refuses to show anything but a blank screen on both my XAMPP and WAMP setups. I have already switched error reporting on (`display_errors`, `error_reporting(E_ALL)`), yet nothing is revealed—no warnings, no notices, just white.
I will send you the complete codebase so you can spin it up in your own environment. What I need first is a straightforward sanity check: can you run it successfully on your machine? If it loads, please outline what differs in your stack (PHP version, extensions, Apache/Nginx settings, etc.). If it fails for you as well, I’d like a concise diagnosis or at least the first concrete clue—error logs, mis-config, missing dependency—so I can reproduce and fix it on my side.
Once we get past this blocker, I’m open to a longer collaboration on feature work and maintenance, so treat this as a paid trial run.
Deliverables
• Confirmation of whether the project runs in your environment
• Brief report (a few lines or annotated logs) showing the root cause or the steps that made it work
• Any code or configuration tweaks you applied, ready to be merged back into the repo
You are free to use whatever local or containerised stack you’re comfortable with; I only care that the diagnosis is clear and reproducible. Quick turnaround appreciated.
