Build WordPress and Shopify Stores
Budget: $50 – $0 CAD
I’m ready to launch two complementary sales channels and need a developer who is comfortable moving between WordPress + WooCommerce and Shopify.
1. WordPress e-commerce site
• Set up, theme-customise, and optimise a WooCommerce store that can handle standard product sales, secure payments, and basic marketing integrations (Mailchimp, Google Analytics).
• Ensure the site is fast, mobile-friendly, and easy for my team to update.
2. Shopify dropshipping site
• Configure a full dropshipping storefront, integrating my chosen supplier apps and payment gateways.
• Customise the theme so the visual identity matches the WordPress shop, from colours and typography to key page layouts.
Cross-platform tasks
• Implement SEO best practices on both sites.
• Set up tracking pixels and basic conversion reporting so I can compare channel performance from day one.
• Provide a brief hand-off guide or short recorded walkthrough showing how to add products, manage orders, and update content on each platform.
Acceptance criteria
• Both sites load in under 3 seconds on GTmetrix.
• Test order on WordPress and test order on Shopify complete without errors.
• All core pages pass Google Mobile-Friendly Test.
