Build Digital License Storefront
Budget: €750 – €1,500 EUR
I’m launching a new brand that will sell software keys and other digital licenses, and I need a seasoned web developer to take the entire storefront from concept to production. The core of the build will sit on WordPress (most likely WooCommerce), but you are free to extend it with modern tools or custom code where that makes sense.
What has to be in place
• Product catalog with variable digital items
• Shopping cart, checkout, and user-account area
• Automatic license-key generation / retrieval and email delivery right after payment
• Invoicing and downloadable receipts inside the account dashboard
• Clean, intuitive admin panel so I can add products, track orders, and issue refunds without touching code
• Responsive, fast-loading theme that can be re-skinned easily and follows SEO best practices (structured data, metadata control, clean markup, etc.)
• Hardened security (HTTPS everywhere, rate-limit login, PCI-compliant practices) and performance optimisation (caching, image compression, CDN hooks)
Payment integrations required
• Stripe
• PayPal
• Bank transfer
I expect tight API integrations, reliable database work (MySQL or PostgreSQL), and clean, well-commented code. If you’ve used React, Next.js, Laravel, or similar stacks alongside WordPress, tell me how you would blend them; I’m open to headless or hybrid approaches as long as the end result is maintainable.
Deliverable acceptance criteria
1. All payment methods process live transactions in sandbox and production modes.
2. A test purchase sends the correct license key and invoice within seconds.
3. Google Lighthouse scores 90+ on performance and accessibility for desktop and mobile.
4. Admin panel allows full CRUD for products and displays order analytics.
5. Source code and documentation (setup, deployment, and key settings) handed over in a Git repo.
This is a one-time, remote project with flexible hours. Include a brief intro and links to similar storefronts or complex e-commerce builds you’ve shipped so I can gauge fit quickly.
