I’m looking for an experienced WordPress performance expert to diagnose and fix slow website performance on my WooCommerce store.


Current setup (already in place):

WordPress + WooCommerce

Flatsome theme

LiteSpeed Enterprise server

LiteSpeed Cache plugin already configured

Cloudflare CDN already active and configured

Dedicated server environment

I am not looking for basic setup. I need advanced performance optimization and troubleshooting.

Main Issues

Slow page load (homepage, product pages, category pages)

Too many JS and CSS requests

Low scores in GTmetrix and PageSpeed Insights

Some plugins loading scripts and database queries on pages where they are not needed

Scope of Work

The freelancer must:

Perform a full performance audit

Use Query Monitor, GTmetrix, and PageSpeed Insights

Identify slow plugins, heavy database queries, and blocking scripts

Plugin-level optimization

Identify plugins causing performance issues

Disable unnecessary plugin scripts per page type (homepage, product, category, cart, checkout)

Use Plugin Organizer or equivalent method (no plugin removal without approval)

Asset optimization

Fine-tune CSS and JS loading (defer, combine, minify where safe)

Reduce HTTP requests

Fix render-blocking resources

Cache and CDN tuning (optimization, not setup)

Fine-tune existing LiteSpeed Cache configuration

Fine-tune existing Cloudflare configuration

Ensure proper browser caching, Brotli/Gzip, and expires headers

WooCommerce-specific optimization

Ensure cart and checkout functionality is not affected

Optimize WooCommerce scripts loading behavior

Improve TTFB and server response time

Important Rules

Do not break checkout, cart, filters, or pricing logic

Do not install heavy performance plugins (WP Rocket, NitroPack, etc.)

Do not remove existing plugins without approval

Work must be done on staging first, then applied to the live site

All changes must be documented and explained clearly

Expected Results

Faster page load times

Improved GTmetrix and PageSpeed scores

Reduced JS and CSS requests

Stable WooCommerce functionality

Required Experience

Apply only if you have:

Proven experience optimizing WooCommerce stores

Hands-on experience with LiteSpeed servers and Cloudflare

Ability to analyze Query Monitor data

Past performance optimization work (links or screenshots)
