Astrology WordPress Platform Development
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My aim is to launch a fully-featured astrology platform on WordPress that feels fast, looks modern, and works flawlessly on every device. Visitors should be able to browse free content straight away, while richer functionality—such as booking sessions or viewing their private dashboard—opens up once they register. Astrologers will have their own profile and login with the same email-and-password flow used for clients; no social or phone verification is planned for the first release.
Core build
• WordPress + Elementor front-end with custom PHP/JavaScript where needed
• WooCommerce for product listings, Razorpay or Stripe for secure payments, and REST/API hooks for live kundli generation, horoscope management and PDF report output
• Role-based access: public pages for all visitors, private dashboards for registered users and astrologers
• Appointment engine with calendar sync, automatic payment capture and WhatsApp notification
• SEO-optimised, mobile-first pages, lazy-loaded media and server-side caching to keep load times low
What I need from you
1. A clean, responsive theme (child theme or custom) that passes Google Lighthouse on performance, accessibility and SEO.
2. End-to-end configuration of user registration, login, dashboard and profile editing using the email-and-password method.
3. Custom post types or CPT-UI setup for astrologer profiles, horoscopes and blog articles.
4. Integration of the chosen astrology/Kundli API plus a generator that produces branded PDF reports on demand.
5. WooCommerce checkout linked to Razorpay/Stripe, with order data pushed to the user’s dashboard.
6. Admin-friendly controls so I can add new astrologers, edit pricing or create discount coupons without touching code.
7. Security hardening (HTTPS, reCAPTCHA, basic firewall, limited login attempts) and scalability best practices.
8. Migration to my live server, domain mapping and a quick walk-through so I can manage updates.
Timeline
The project needs to go live ASAP, so please outline a realistic sprint schedule and any dependencies you foresee the moment we start.
Acceptance criteria will be simple: each feature above must function as described, pass cross-browser/device tests, and hit agreed performance benchmarks. If you have recent experience with similar astrology sites, I’d love to see them.
