Wix Membership Gift Card Automation

I run a Wix Stores site that sells memberships through Wix Pricing Plans. Every time someone buys a plan for the first time—or when their subscription renews—I need Velo code that instantly creates a $5 Wix Gift Card and emails it to that member.

Key flow I expect
• Detect the relevant membership events (initial purchase and each successful renewal).
• Generate a single-use $5 gift card through the Wix Gift Cards API.
• Email the card to the member automatically. The email must be built from a new template you create that shows the member’s plan name, the unique $5 Gift Card code, and its expiration date.

Acceptance criteria
– Works for all active and future plans without manual intervention.
– Email delivery confirmed in testing with live and sandbox transactions.
– Clean, documented Velo code pushed to my site so I can maintain it.

Proficiency with Velo, Wix Pricing Plans events, Wix Gift Cards, and Wix Automations will be essential.
