Wix, Figma, Canva Specialist Needed
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
Freelance Web & Design Assistant (Wix Studio, Figma, Canva)
I am looking for a reliable freelance designer to join my team on a long-term, part-time basis.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys executing clear instructions and helping bring structured design projects to life.
Most tasks involve implementing existing designs, extending page layouts, or completing sections of websites that already have direction and style guidelines.
Hours
• 4–12 hours per week
• Work delivered in approx. 4 hour task blocks
• Flexible schedule
• Tasks can usually be completed anytime during the week rather than immediately
Core Responsibilities
Typical work includes:
• Building and editing pages in Wix Studio (not Wix Editor)
• Creating responsive layouts across desktop, tablet and mobile
• Applying existing design systems to additional pages
• Implementing animations and page interactions within Wix Studio
• Updating website sections using existing copy and layouts
• Creating supporting assets in Canva
• Working with Figma designs and translating them into live websites
Example task:
The homepage has already been designed for a project. You would build the remaining pages following the same design system and layout style and optmise across platforms on Figma or Wix Studio.
Required Skills
You must be proficient in:
• Wix Studio
• Figma
• Canva
You should also understand:
• Responsive web design
• Wix Studio animation tools
• Structuring website sections and layouts
No coding is required.
Bonus Skills
Not essential but valuable:
• Video editing
• Shopify experience
• Motion or interaction design
Working Style
• Most projects come with clear direction and visual examples
• I often record Loom walkthrough videos explaining tasks step-by-step
• Work is collaborative but structured
What I’m Looking For
• Someone who follows instructions carefully
• Strong attention to design detail and consistency
• Reliable communication
• Comfortable working within an existing style rather than reinventing everything
Long-Term Collaboration
I value long-term working relationships.
Most of my current team members have worked with me for 2–4 years, and I am now expanding the team to support multiple brands and ongoing projects.
The goal is to build a consistent pipeline of small assignments each week.
You'll also get access to Envato Elements Templates - which you can use for our projects as well as your own independant projects.
