I am building an author website on Wix to support a long-term book series: one flagship title plus 100 model-focused companion books. The first wave—a flagship book and ten model books—goes live 15 Jan 2006, so the site needs to be fully operational before that date and as soon as possible to collect leads..
Core objectives
• Capture and nurture leads for each book launch. A newsletter sign-up, service-interest form, and referral-program opt-in all make sense, but I am open to smarter ideas such as exclusive pre-order access or free chapter downloads if they convert better.
• Encourage readers who buy a model book to register for related services and invite friends through a referral system that tracks and rewards sign-ups automatically.
• Showcase the work. A homepage featuring the current spotlight book and a concise author bio is essential, yet I’m happy to let your creative direction guide layout, imagery, and extra sections.
• Support daily blog growth with an easy-to-replicate template and category structure.
• Prepare for direct sales (print and digital) through Wix Stores or an equivalent solution, ready to activate when the catalogue is complete.
