Modern Wix Cottage Stay Website
Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD
I’m ready to give my cottage staycation a polished online presence and would like the entire site built in Wix so I can manage updates myself later. The overall aesthetic should be clean and Modern—think generous white space, clear typography, and high-quality imagery that lets the property speak for itself.
Scope
The site is only five pages, but each one has a specific purpose:
• Home – an inviting hero image, short intro, quick links to the other pages, and a prominent “Enquire Now” button.
• Gallery – a grid or slider of curated photos that loads quickly on mobile.
• Fees – a simple rate table, seasonal notes, and an at-a-glance list of what’s included in the price.
• Floor Plan – an embedded, easy-to-read plan; hover or click hotspots are welcome if you know how to implement them in Wix.
• FAQ – answers to the most common questions about amenities, nearby activities, and house rules.
Essential features
• Contact form that routes directly to my email and stores submissions in Wix Contacts.
• Customer reviews section I can keep adding to; native Wix Reviews or another lightweight widget is fine as long as it blends with the design.
Content & assets
I’ll provide all copy, photos, and the existing floor-plan PDF. You can pull activity icons or stock images if they enhance the look. Image optimisation, basic on-page SEO, and mobile responsiveness are expected parts of the build.
Acceptance criteria
1. All five pages published on my Wix account, live and responsive.
2. Form and review widget tested and working.
3. Visual style matches the agreed Modern mood board.
4. Handover includes a short Loom or written guide showing me how to edit text, swap photos, and approve new reviews.
