Topology Setup of Savari (router-like) devices
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have two devices from Savari company (namely, roadside unit RSU and on-board unit OBU). These devices are similar to routers and their firmware is based on openWRT. Both devices have wireless network interface cards (NIC) that run a variant of WiFi called dedicated short range communication (DSRC). Additionally, both devices have ethernet NICs to directly connect to them.
I would like someone to help me make theses devices relay packets received from the ethernet port through the wireless DSRC port.
My topology is: laptop 1--> router 1 --> router 2 --> laptop 2. The laptop would send a packet to router 1 through ethernet. Router 1 forwards the message to router 2 using wireless DSRC. Router 2 relays the just received message to the final destination laptop 2 via ethernet. Laptop 2 replies using the reverse direction.
I have attached my topology as well as the description of the Savari devices.
