IoT Wearable Tech Advisor Needed
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m developing a BLE-based wearable IoT product and need a technical advisor who can help me avoid costly mistakes and ensure I hire the right prototype engineer—someone who can actually deliver a working, scalable product.
Your role:
Help me screen and evaluate prototype engineers before hiring
Ensure I’m not choosing someone who talks big but can’t finish the job
Review past work, proposals, timelines, and deliverables for red flags
Confirm the engineer I hire can realistically complete the full prototype, including hardware, firmware, and BLE integration
Advise on low-power design, manufacturability, and scalability
Help me stay within my budget while getting real, testable results
Ideal skills:
Proven experience in IoT and wearable product development
Deep knowledge of ESP32, BLE, low-power design, and sensor integration
Strong technical judgment to separate qualified engineers from pretenders
Ability to translate complex terms into clear, actionable steps for a non-technical founder
Deliverables:
1. Shortlist of verified, capable prototype engineers
2. Written feedback on their proposals, strengths, and risks
3. Technical advisory support throughout the prototype phase (hourly or milestone-based)
This advisor will be key to helping me avoid failure by making sure the person I hire can actually deliver a working, manufacturable prototype. If you’ve helped a hardware startup avoid expensive misfires and launch successfully, I’d love to connect.
