Position Overview: We're currently seeking a skilled engineer proficient in provisioning, troubleshooting, and deploying wearable IoT devices with 4G and WiFi connectivity, specifically running on the Android OS. As a Senior IoT Engineer - Wearable Device Connectivity Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in addressing connectivity challenges and optimizing data transmission between our wearable devices and AWS servers.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues affecting our wearable smartwatch devices.
• Utilize your expertise in provisioning and deploying wearable devices to ensure robust 4G and WiFi connectivity.
• Work closely with our US and overseas engineering teams to implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain a deep understanding of biomedical engineering principles, particularly related to health parameters measured by our devices.
• Ensure seamless transmission of health data collected by our devices to AWS web socket servers.
Requirements:
• Possess a business-minded sense of urgency and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Demonstrated experience as a solutions-oriented IoT engineer, with a focus on resolving connectivity issues.
• Proven track record in troubleshooting and resolving connectivity challenges, with verifiable references.
• Extensive experience working with wearable devices running on the Android OS.
• Strong understanding of 4G and WiFi connectivity aspects of IoT devices, particularly in transmitting data to AWS servers.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience collaborating with both US-based and China-based engineering teams.
