Convert & Configure Cisco AP
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have a single Cisco Aironet AIR-AP1832I-D-K9 that is still running in lightweight CAPWAP mode on firmware 8.5.120.0. The goal is to re-image it to Mobility Express so it can operate as a standalone controller, then create one office-ready SSID secured with WPA3.
You’ll get console access (USB-to-RJ45 cable already in place) and a live AnyDesk session to my workstation, so you can handle the entire process remotely. I’ll be on the call to power-cycle the unit or swap cables if needed.
What I expect at the end:
• The AP boots reliably in Mobility Express mode.
• One SSID is broadcasting, authenticated with WPA3, and confirmed working on a test laptop/phone.
• Basic settings—country code IN, time zone, and channel/power left on auto—saved to flash so they survive reboot.
• A quick text summary of the commands/steps you ran for future reference.
If you’ve done similar conversions on 1830/1850/2800 series before, this should be a straightforward task. Let me know an estimated timeframe and we can schedule the AnyDesk session right away.
