Wireless Network Setup for School

Job ID: 39781125

Budget: $20 – $30 SGD

We are opening a new K-12 campus and need a complete wireless network designed, installed, and kept running smoothly from day one. I’m looking for someone who can handle the full cycle: conduct an on-site survey, plan access-point placement, supply or specify the hardware, install and configure everything (switches, PoE, controller, firewall, VLANs, captive portal), and then stay available for ongoing maintenance and optimisation.

This is a fresh installation, so you’ll be starting with a blank slate—no legacy equipment to worry about. The building will already be cabled to IDF closets; your job is to make sure every classroom, lab, and common area has strong, secure Wi-Fi coverage that can cope with 1:1 devices, streaming, and online testing.

Preferred stack: UniFi, Aruba, or Cisco Meraki, but I’m open to other enterprise-grade solutions if you can justify them. WPA3, role-based access, and robust content-filtering must be in place from the outset, along with clear documentation I can hand to future techs.

Deliverables:
• Detailed site survey and heat-map report
• Bill of materials with sourcing info
• Installation and configuration of all wireless gear
• Network diagram, IP schema, and admin credentials document
• 30-day post-deployment monitoring and remote support

If you have experience rolling out campus-wide Wi-Fi, especially in education, I’d love to see examples. Please outline your proposed timeline and any software tools (Ekahau, NetSpot, etc.) you plan to use for the survey and validation.
