Task Tracking App for PC
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need an app that will run on a windows PC that will do the following;
When a team member starts a new task, or begins the day, they select their name and the task they will be undertaking. On the same screen will be a list of currently logged in team members, the task they are doing and the time they have been doing it for. Ideally this side of the screen will show live times and update constantly. All times will be displayed in whole minutes, so 2 hours and 15 minutes will display as 135.
When a team member moves to a different task they select their name and the new task. This will close off the old task and start the new task. These should be a way for a team member to end their day, that is end their current task and not start a new one. There should also be a way for a supervisor to manually edit start/end times if a team member forgets to change tasks.
At the end of the day we press an ‘End of Day’ button, with a confirmation that we want this to happen, so it can’t accidentally be pressed. This will cause all current users that haven’t used the end day function to have their task closed off. The program will then ask for a volume packed number for each task that isn’t a shared task.
Once the end of day function is completed the program uses the various costs in the config screens to calculate the total. Any Task that is designated a shared task has it’s time evenly split across all tasks done that are not a shared task. Using each individuals rate per hour, the volume packed and the various numbers in the config screens the program will create two spreadsheets that will be emailed, via outlook, to an internal email address.
The first spreadsheet will be a list of each team member and how long they worked on each task. A team member may move from task to task, participating in the same task on multiple occasions across the day, it won’t always be linear.
The second spreadsheet will be a list of each non-shared task, the time taken per unit and the total cost per unit for the day.
Once those spreadsheets are completed that days information on tasks can be deleted, ready to start again the next day.
I have attached very basic samples of the information I need presented. I can provide the calculations for working out the unit cost as we progress.
