Help me get google drive mounted with rclone as drive in windows 10 - should take 5 minutes if you know what you are doing -- 2
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I had this working previously. Can't figure out why it's not working since I re-installed it. Just need 10 minutes with someone who works with this all the time to check the config and help me get the service running in Windows 10 again
Using RClone and Nssm - you must have experience with these app's please.
I am using the following process:
Below is the detailed process I went through in order to install Rclone Mount: Gsuite already setup.
Download Rclone 64 Bit for Windows (Currently 1.47.0)
https://rclone.org/downloads/
Unzip the folder to C:\rclone
Open PowerShell (Admin)
Type c:\rclone\rclone.exe config or d:\rclone\rclone.exe config if moved to d
Type n for New Remote
Type gdrive
Select from the list GDrive ( not Google Cloud Drive ) [At the time of writing it was No. 13.]
Now make your own client_id
Goto https://console.developers.google.com/
Create a New Project
Under “ENABLE APIS AND SERVICES” search for “Drive”, and enable the “Google Drive API”
Click “Credentials” in the left-side panel (not “Create credentials”, which opens the wizard), then “Create credentials”, then “OAuth client ID”. It will prompt you to set the OAuth consent screen product name, if you haven’t set one already.
Choose an application type of “Desktop App”, and click “Create” (I simply named mine oAuth 2.0 Client ID)
This will then show you a client ID and client secret.
Copy the Client ID
Go back to PowerShell and right click to paste the Client ID
Now go back to the Google developers console and copy the Client Secret
Go back to PowerShell and right click to paste the Client Secret
You will now be prompted to choose a number from below for the scope – type 1 and then enter
You will now be prompted to either enter a string value for the root folder or leave it blank - Leave Blank and press Enter
You will now be prompted to either enter a string value for the service_account_file - Leave this blank and press enter
Next you will be asked if you’d like to edit the advanced config (y/n) - Type n and then enter
Now you’ll be asked if you’d like to use auto config - Type y and then enter
You will now be taken to the sign-on page for google drive – if not, enter the following in your web browser http://127.0.0.1:53682/auth
Enter your login details
Go back to PowerShell and when asked if you would like to configure this as a team drive in PowerShell, type Y and then enter
Now you'll be shown a list of Shared Drives in your account. Select the appropriate one.
Your finalized version of the config file will now be output in PowerShell and all you have to do is enter y to accept it
The rclone config file has now been built and will be located in C:\Users\<your windows username>\.config\rclone
