Front Desk Hotel Calendar PMS
Budget: $3 – $4 NZD
I need a lightweight hotel front-desk calendar that runs smoothly on Windows. My priority is to get a simple, working prototype online as soon as possible so staff can see which rooms are free today, tomorrow, and the next few weeks, and record new reservations without fuss.
Here’s what I’m after for this first build:
• Clean calendar view that lets me add, edit, and cancel bookings with just a few clicks.
• Simple check-in / check-out toggle so reception can mark guests as arrived or departed.
• At-a-glance room status (free, occupied, due out) using clear colour codes.
• Local database or file storage—no cloud setup for now.
• An installer or portable EXE that works on modern Windows machines without extra dependencies.
If you have experience in Delphi, C#, VB.NET, or similar Windows desktop tools and can turn around a basic prototype quickly, let’s talk. I’m happy to refine features later, but for this phase I mainly need the core calendar and booking functions up and running.
