Create a Windows Desktop Application for an Exam App
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
We need to create a Windows desktop application which will work as a safe exam browser by which the data received from backend (currently ready to use) in JSON format can be used to show a question paper, one multiple choice question at a time with different formats and designs. The graphic interface of all the exams will be given in html format if required. Once the exam is over, the answers are again uploaded via API in json format again.
The student gets to download the test file which can be opened only with the secure browser and that too at the specified time sprecribed from the back end admin. Browser will be in Full screen mode on start of test, the exam will end if the browser is reverted from full screen mode or minimised. Once the test is completed whether by user clicking the End Test button or the time of test gets over, the responses will get uploaded via json format to the backend server
General Features
Managed web browser, which can be configured using encrypted configuration files
Fullscreen mode or multiple browser windows which can be resized (without any navigation elements), browser tabs on iPad
URL filter to allow accessing only specific web sites, pages or resources
Spell checking, dictionary lookup, internet browsing is disabled.
Disabled actions (in default settings):
- Windows Task Bar and the Start Menu
- Switch to other applications invoked by Alt+Tab or Windows+Tab (unless permitted)
- Menu options on the Windows Security Screen invoked with Ctrl+Alt+Delete are removed while application is running
- Display and system idle sleep
- Print Screen and some other keyboard shortcuts like ALT+F4
VMware shade (toolbar) when using VMware Horizon View Client for VDI
Process monitoring hides or terminates not allowed processes while application is running
Separate configuration tool with graphical user interface
Additional resources like web pages or whole sites, HTML and PDF documents, even full web applications can be used in exams
