Windows Technical Support Required

I need supporrt with a pin reset issue with a federated environment - the machines are managed by intune and federated between google and microsoft. when attempting to reset the pin at a lock screen I get a "something went wrong. try again" error - i have another setup where this works so I know it can be done.
