Windows System Administrator Support Needed

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Windows Systems Engineer to join our IT team. This role will be responsible for supporting our Windows server infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud, ensuring optimal performance, security, and regulatory compliance. You will play a key role in maintaining a reliable and efficient IT environment, collaborating with other IT professionals and stakeholders to achieve our strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Windows Server Administration:
Manage and maintain on-premises Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization technologies (VMWare).
Leverage Tanium for endpoint management and security tasks.
Implement and maintain automated script solutions for repetitive tasks.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
Respond to user requests and resolve server-related issues.
• Data Center Operations:
Maintain and operate data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and preventive measures.
Collaborate on data center hardware upgrades and migrations.
Ensure compliance with data center security protocols and data protection.
• Cloud Computing (AWS):
Optimize AWS resource utilization and cost management.
Perform routine administrative tasks on the AWS platform.
Stay updated with the latest AWS services and features.
• Other Responsibilities:
Document procedures and processes.
Participate in IT projects and initiatives.
Stay informed about the latest Windows technologies and trends.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative IT team environment.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Windows Systems Engineer.
• Proven experience in managing on-premises and cloud Windows server environments.
• Broad understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of AWS services and concepts.
• Experience in data center operations and hardware maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell.
• Additional certifications in Windows Server, AWS, or other related technologies are a plus.
