Windows Server IIS to rewrite request for incoming http request to a local VM

Job ID: 31352736

Budget: €8 – €30 EUR

Hello, this mission is for a proven specialist in Windows Server IIS rerouting.

I need the freelancer to assist me in setting up the domain name of a project in order to be accessible by anyone one the web.
The DNS of my domain were setup in order to route the A record to my dedicated fixed IP on port 80. For example: domain.com > 45.56.67.78
My main Gateway Router, which is connected to my ISP, takes the incoming request on port 80 and forward it to my Local Windows Server which has ISS and DNS installed.

So, at this stage, pointing to domain.com on the web, is resolved properly by IIS, and provide the IIS default page.

Now, what I want to do is to establish IIS as a proxy, in order to route this query to a dedicated VM which contains Apache2 server and the project.

Virtual Host are configured, and the website on Apache's VM is currently accessible locally. But I couldn't reach the results to have domain.com, transiting through IIS, in order to connect to Apache2 on the VM. I tried rewrites in htaccess but it didn't work.

I need someone who is capable to set it up with me, during 1 or 2 telcos, in order for me to have the domain name properly resolved up to the VM.

The working language can be English, French, Russian. I will select the specialist who already have had experience in this type of setup, especially on IIS Proxy and IIS ReverseProxy.

Thank you.
François
