Remote Desktop on VPN

Job ID: 38280326

Budget: £10 – £20 GBP

• Description
We have a dedicated Windows server and typically access it via a Remote Desktop on the PC and phone.

To enhance security, as the server can be accessed anywhere on the Internet, we will need you to set up a VPN on the remote desktop. Ideally, the user needs a certificate or Google authenticator to access the remote desktop, and all other traffic using a direct remote desktop is rejected. You can use web services such as AWS (you can suggest more) as the middle server.

Also notice that currently we use the Google remote desktop to access the server remotely on my phone. So your solution also needs to work on my Google Pixel 6 Pro.

I will share my desktop, and you will tell me or work on the setup remotely. Regarding the phone, I don’t know how to share my screen and let you work on it, so you may need to document the step via chat, and I follow it.

The task will be awarded to someone who has similar experience working. All procedures need to be documented.

I hope I don't need to restart the server as it will cause some problems this week.

You will not be paid unless I can successfully use the remote desktop via VPN on my PC and Pixel phone.
