Problem Trying to Demote Old Domain Controller
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have a Hyper V VM running a replica of a DC we have in the wild. The server is running 2012 essentials and I want to replace this with Server 2019. I have added the new server and promoted it to a DC. There is some problem with replication because SYSVOL and NETLOGON shares haven't been created on the New DC. On the old server if I try to demote it I get an error saying that another DC can't be found.
This is in a test environment and I want to over come these issues before I try to do this for real. There might be a possibility of on going mini projects for the right candidate. We need someone with good english skills, written and verbal. UK timezone would be benficial but not totally necessary.
