Office PC suddenly stopped accepting file sharing connections from other machines

My office PC running Windows 7 suddenly, for no reason that I can tell, stopped accepting connections from other PCs on the network. That is, when someone tries to connect to "\\machine" to view files, Windows says: "Windows cannot find '\\machine'" after about 3 seconds.
As far as I can see, nothing is wrong:
- In Advanced Sharing Settings, all profiles have file and printing sharing enabled, and password sharing disabled
- The folders in question are shared with "Everyone" in "advanced sharing" folder properties with read/write permission
- The machine is in the same workgroup and on the same subnet (192.168.1.*) as the other machines
It was working this morning, but suddenly stopped. I'm not sure what happened, and I don't know what else to check. Would appreciate a bit of help. I can provide access to the machine in question through AnyDesk.
