Description:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable freelancer to assist with ongoing Microsoft Server projects, including deployments, migrations, upgrades, and day-to-day support. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and communicates effectively in English.
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy and configure Microsoft Server environments (Windows Server 2012–2022)
Perform server migrations (e.g., file servers, domain controllers, Exchange, etc.)
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other core services
Provide ongoing server support and performance tuning
Document configurations, changes, and processes clearly
Collaborate with our internal team and clients as needed through our CRM.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Microsoft Server environments
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and server roles/features
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Availability for scheduled and emergency support
Preferred:
Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent)
Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Azure AD, and hybrid environments
Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning
Project Type:
Ongoing — Part-time or as-needed basis
