Connect Azure Server (Windows 2019) via site-to-site with on-prem Sophos firewall

I have a Windows 2019 server setup and running in Azure, there is a VPN Gateway setup to establish a site-to-site connection with an on-prem network where the firewall is a Virtual Sophos Gateway with a public IP. I am able to establish a connection on both sides (Azure and Sophos), however ping communication is NOT established between the Azure and On-prem. This project is to help establish communication between Azure and on-prem.
