Assistance with Active Directory / DNS error. Events 4000 + 4007. Can not connect to AD / Network Unauthenticated / Non-Existent Domain
Budget: $50 – $0 CAD
I am looking for assistance with an Active Directory / DNS error that I am experiencing. The specific error message I am receiving is "Non-Existent Domain", along with events 4000 + 4007, and unauthenticated network. This all happened immediately after a restart of the server.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge and experience with Active Directory and DNS troubleshooting
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019, as that is the specific version of Active Directory I am using
- Familiarity with resolving Active Directory errors, particularly the "Non-Existent Domain" error
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity issues
- Proficiency in checking and configuring DNS settings
Project Tasks:
- Investigate and resolve the errors
- Analyze and troubleshoot the root cause of the error
- Ensure network connectivity is functioning properly
- Verify and configure DNS settings, if necessary
Please note that I have already attempted to troubleshoot the issue by restarting the server, restarting NLA services, checking computer machine password, and editing the registry to force the computer to use the domain profile, instead of private. I have tried other basic steps as well, like checking connectivity between the servers (which is fine), internet connectivity is fine. The domain controller can not even connect to the DNS application at the moment, whereas before the restart eveything was working perfectly. Restart was due to changing out a UPS that had failed.
