We are looking for a skilled and experienced Wikipedia editor/writer to create a professional Wikipedia page for our company.
You will be responsible for researching, writing, formatting, and submitting a company article that meets all Wikipedia guidelines and content standards. We will supply company background information and images, but you will also need to conduct independent research to find reliable, third-party sources to establish notability.
Responsibilities:
• Research independent sources to support Wikipedia notability
• Write a well-structured, neutral, and encyclopedic article
• Format the page according to Wikipedia’s Manual of Style
• Submit the draft to Wikipedia and manage the review process
• Address any feedback from Wikipedia editors to help ensure approval
• Properly upload and license company images, if necessary
Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience creating or editing Wikipedia pages (please include examples)
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Strong understanding of Wikipedia content policies, including neutrality and verifiability
• Familiarity with proper citation formatting and image licensing
