Senior Wikipedia Editor (Biographies of Living Persons) – Extended Confirmed Required

Project Description:

I am seeking one highly experienced Wikipedia editor with a strong track record specifically in Biographies of Living Persons (BLP) on English Wikipedia.

This project requires not only translation, but expert-level judgement in handling sensitive biographical content under strict Wikipedia policies.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:
Must have an Extended Confirmed account on English Wikipedia
Demonstrated experience creating or substantially editing BLP articles
Deep understanding of:
BLP policy (mandatory)
NPOV (Neutral Point of View)
COI (Conflict of Interest)
Notability guidelines for individuals

Applications that do not clearly demonstrate BLP experience will be ignored.

Scope of Work:
Translate an existing biography from Portuguese into natural, publication-ready English
Critically review and adjust tone to meet strict BLP standards (removal of promotional or unsourced claims is expected)
Validate notability and strengthen sourcing using high-quality secondary sources
Structure the article to meet English Wikipedia standards (infobox, categories, formatting)
Publish the article to the main namespace
Handle any initial community feedback if required

This is a high-sensitivity biography project.
Accuracy, neutrality, and compliance are more important than speed.
