Halal Certification Wikipedia Page Creation
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Dear Sir/Madam.
I hope this email finds you well.
Let me start by introducing myself; my name is Dina Sherief, and I am the marketing communications director at the Islamic Chamber Halal Platform (ICHP).
To give you a brief idea about who we are let me start by saying that we are the commercial arm of the Islamic Chamber for Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA). The ICCIA includes commercial chambers from all 57 countries around the world.
ICHP is the commercial arm of ICCIA responsible for all issues that pertain to Halal services around the world. Our main headquarters are in Jersey Island in the United Kingdom, but for a while we have been operating from and will be operating in an office in Cairo, Egypt.
Our main goal is to change the dynamics of the Halal eco-system, not only within what obviously comes to mind when you first say the word Halal (I am referring to raw meat here of course) but also pertaining to several other industries including catering, cosmetics pharmaceuticals, travel, commerce, banking, finance & tourism.
We have quite an expansive business plan that covers many activities, but in parallel we are doing what you might call cleaning house; there are several loose ends that need to handle to ensure that our chamber’s content and tone of voice are in accordance with as much information out there regarding Halal, no small feat I can assure you.
One of the preliminary steps that we would like to start working on are several Wikipedia pages that are either directly or indirectly related to us.
The first page that we would like to put in order is the Wikipedia page related to Halal Certification (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Halal_certification) ; once you open the page you will immediately note that it needs a lot of work.
This is the first step that we would love to tackle because even though it is a crucial step within the Halal cycle, it is very badly represented in the Wikipedia page I mentioned above.
We would like an experienced Wikipedia content writer to thoroughly research the topic and then provide us with content that accurately reflects the importance of and the global presence of Halal certification. The content needs to also point to Halal accreditation, different standards within different regions or countries – basically, we need a background on the subject, a detailed understanding of the subject, a step by step process understanding with references and topics, where the content will have a logical flow and will provide both the bigger picture of Halal Certification but also the microlevel of the Halal Certification process itself. All content to begin with will be in English, of course.
If you feel that this is something that may interest you and that you would like to work on, please let me know. Also please feel free to take a few days to study the subject so you can come back to me with a timeline and a quotation, prior to the actual work to ensure that we are on the same page.
Please let me know if you have any inquiries or need any clarification.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks
